What We Do

The NYAARC schools (Columbia, CUNY, and NYU) offer students the opportunity to study and collaborate with students and faculty at all three schools. Core archaeology classes are taught on a rotating basis among the three departments and cross-registration allows for students to have the opportunity to take a wide range of courses and interact with a diverse and dynamic faculty and student community across New York City. Our departments also organize talks, brown bag workshops, most recently co-organized the TAG-North America 2026 Conference, in collaboration with the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
